Simple & Healthy Pourable Vegan Cheese by the Blueprint
This Simple & Healthy Pourable Vegan Cheese by the Blueprint is just for you. A few cups of cashews will yield a delicious cheese spread that will make your taste buds salivate for more. This smooth and creamy sauce is not only easy to make but wonderfully satisfying and nutritious. The delicious cheese sauce is versatile and can be drizzled over so many things.
The sauce contains cashews and a few other simple ingredients.
- 1 C raw cashews
- 1 C water
- 1 T Tahini
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1/4 C “Mezzetta” roasted bell pepper in a glass jar from Walmart (You may roast your own.)
DIRECTIONS
- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender.
- Blend on high speed until creamy. A high speed blender does a wonderful job of making dry cashews into cream!
NOTE: If you don’t have a high powered blender you can do the following: (1) Soak raw cashews overnight. Then drain and discard water, (2) Pour boiling water over cashews and let sit for 1-2 hours, or (3) Boil cashews on the stovetop for fifteen minutes. Soaking will prevent the texture from being gritty, yielding creamier results.
Blend all the ingredients until smooth. You can use this right away or place in the refrigerator to cool. This cheese sauce is versatile and can be cooked to thicken and frozen to preserve it.
Bible Quotes
SONG OF SOLOMON 6:11
I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates budded.
Spirit of Prophecy Quotes (Ellen White)
In order to know what are the best foods, we must study God’s original plan for man’s diet. He who created man and who understands his needs appointed Adam his food…. Grains, fruits, nuts, and vegetables constitute the diet chosen for us by our Creator. { CG 380.1} (Ellen White, Child Guidance, page 380, paragraph 1)
